Mini Project Upload Week 1
I have uploaded a mini project on my github which puts into practice whatever we have learned(or have yet to learn) this week. Please do take a look. Those who are experts, constructive criticism and feedback will be greatly appreciated. For those who are still learning, you can view or download them in hopes that you can get something out of them, although it is a very basic project and I doubt you will learn much.
It compares Trump vs Obama during their first years of presidency using a few economical factors as datasets.

Great you said you were going to do it and you do it!

That’s awesome, why don´t you also try an visualize it as a website?. Github does it for you, for free. Check on it, otherwise I can help you.
@pedromrv I am sorry i do not fully understand what you mean. Github automatically renders jupyter notebooks if you try to view the .ipynb file or did you mean something else ? Did you mean hosting it as a seperate webpage using the HTML file in the repository ?
@raptorate Yes the second option should work.
@pedromrv At the moment I am too tired to look it up could you direct me or just point me to an article that explains how to do so ?
@raptorate No problem, we can have a look at it next time at DigitYser.
@irene-del-carmen thank you
@pedromrv I do not come very often, see you on the 21st though if you are coming for the SAS. Also I highly suggest you join the discord channel as it will be easier to communicate
Perfect then, can you give me a hint of how can I join you on Discord, for example, what’s the name of the group?
@pedromrv I have posted link on the forums. The title should say discord server for communication across teams

Thanks, got it.
Did everyone get an invite to connect with/join discord? If so, I won’t be sharing email addresses since it serves as a communication channel as well as far as I see.
Cheers from the digityser offices:)

I have gone through most of the messages in this thread. If I may suggest, it would be ideal to share ideas online, even though it is much easier to discuss matters offline @ Digityzer. One has to bear in mind that not all members are able to physically attend events.

I have tried to merge the datasets and try to make one clean dataset for myself and others to practice visualization techniques on the data, I got stuck in the time series merging part…

PS: great notebook you made, nice example of how to code and write comments
